Description
Description
While carving, I focused on learning composition, shape balance, and flowing linework in a cubist-inspired portrait style. The piece reflects themes of closeness and human connection, expressed through overlapping faces and shared contours.
Note
Inspired by “In Togetherness” by SoulCurryArt (Ishita). Created and sold with her permission as a one-time charitable project. All proceeds are donated to charity.
Lesson Learned:
My mistake was choosing A5 size when I should have used at least A4, which caused me to miss a lot of details. I also realized my tools weren’t sharp enough, so I bought a new one that will hopefully be useful for my next project.
